Plastic Fantastic !?
Een kleine selectie uit de deelcollectie Kunststof & Rubber. De collectie is afkomstig uit het gelijknamige magazine en bestaat uit 14.500 afbeeldingen (periode 1950-1995). De foto’s geven een euforisch beeld van de ongekende mogelijkheden van plastics na WOII, niet wetende dat het 50 jaar later één van de grootste milieuproblemen zou worden.
A small selection from the sub-collection Plastic & Rubber. The collection originated from the eponymous magazine (Kunststof en rubber) and consists of 14,500 images (period 1950-1995). The photos give a euphoric view of the unprecedented possibilities of plastics after WWII, not knowing that 50 years later it would become one of the biggest environmental problems.
