Blog ResearchLAB with students: Archive 2.0 (Retro) Ethics

Archive 2.0: (Retro) Ethics

The Spaarnestad Photo Foundation has in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, developed a ResearchLab to let students discover collections as a source and inspiration for new ideas. Students are guest curators of the collection and are challenged to give their views on the given collections of photographs found in the archive and produce new multimedia work. The goal is to ‘upgrade’, interpret, transform the stories discoverd in the archive of still images to new, contemporary forms of expresion. After five months the results will be presented in a series of projects in the field of Interactive Media design, Visual Arts, Interior Design, Graphic Design and Photography.
During the upcoming months you can follow the progress of this ResearchLab through this blog
